On 15 February 2025, Ecopark turned five. It was a day spent among friends and motorhomers, with cake, conversation, and that good feeling of looking back at how far we’ve come.

We started with a simple idea: to create the park we ourselves had been looking for whenever we travelled by motorhome — somewhere calm, away from the mass tourism of the coast, where we could arrive without a booking and stay as long as we wanted. It wasn’t an easy path. We were 50 when we left our jobs in Lisbon to start again from scratch in the Algarve, and the pandemic nearly stopped us right after we opened our doors.

Five years on, guests from all over the world have left us more than 800 reviews on Google, Park4Night and CamperContact. That’s what keeps us going — and it’s you we want to thank, for choosing Ecopark, year after year.

Motorhome Ecopark is officially open for the new season, running through to 30 April. Welcome back, motorhomers — we spent the summer months looking after the park and its green areas, and we’ve arrived at this opening ready to welcome you.

Today, 15 February 2024, Ecopark turns 4. It’s been a journey with its share of challenges and good surprises along the way.
