ECOPARK
House Rules
The rules that keep everyone at Ecopark safe and comfortable.
Article 1 — Purpose
These House Rules for Motorhome Ecopark São Brás de Alportel, referred to below as Ecopark, set out how the park is used and run, including the admission of pets, the conditions of stay, hygiene and safety standards, and what happens in the event of a breach — all in order to protect the wellbeing and safety of everyone staying here.
Article 2 — Concept
A) Ecopark is a motorhome park for short, medium and long stays, offering a warm, welcoming and peaceful setting, together with quality facilities and services, and built around respect for the environment and the preservation of nature.
B) Every pitch has electricity (6A, 220V), drinking water and Wi-Fi.
Article 3 — Guests
Ecopark is exclusively for adult motorhome travellers: only guests aged 18 or over may enter or stay at the park.
Article 4 — Opening season
A) Ecopark is open from 1 January to 30 April and from 1 October to 31 December.
B) The off-season break allows us to maintain the park properly, carry out improvements, and give our staff a chance to rest.
Article 5 — Price list
The current price list is displayed at the reception door and by the sanitary facilities, and is also available on the Ecopark website.
Article 6 — Access control
Access to Ecopark is controlled automatically by number-plate recognition, using a barrier linked to an automatic payment terminal.
Article 7 — Check-in
In-person check-in follows these steps:
A) Park your motorhome at the park entrance, by the barrier.
B) Use the self-service kiosk to enter the following information:
- Choose your language;
- Say whether you’re checking in or extending your stay, with or without electricity, or reporting a problem;
- Enter the number of nights you expect to stay, whether you have a dog (and how many — maximum 2 per motorhome), and whether your motorhome weighs 7 tonnes or more;
- Enter your motorhome’s number plate;
- Enter your country of origin;
- Say whether you need an invoice with a tax number;
- Say whether you’d like your invoices and ticket by email or on paper;
- If you choose email, enter your email address;
- Confirm your details and pay — by debit or credit card only; cash is not accepted;
- Collect your payment receipt.
C) Once payment goes through, the system reads your number plate automatically and opens the barrier.
D) You can then drive in and settle into any available pitch.
E) Your stay runs in full 24-hour blocks, starting from the moment your payment is completed.
F) During your stay, you’re free to drive in and out whenever you like — just pull up to the barrier and it will open automatically.
G) To extend your stay, return to the kiosk to register and pay again before your current 24-hour period ends.
H) Once your paid stay has run out, the barrier will no longer open automatically.
Article 8 — Check-in support
A) The Ecopark team can help you check in, either in person or over the phone.
B) Phone support is available on +351 965 509 021 (call charges apply for calls from outside Portugal).
C) The Ecopark team checks that guests have completed check-in correctly.
Article 9 — Refund policy
A) Where a refund is due, Ecopark management issues a credit of the same amount, which can be used towards a future stay.
B) We recommend guests avoid paying in advance for long periods, to avoid the need for a refund in the first place.
Article 10 — Additional vehicles
A) Guests bringing a second, smaller vehicle — whether owned or hired — should contact management beforehand, to make sure it can come and go freely during their stay.
B) These second vehicles, and any trailers, should preferably be parked in the car park near the entrance. Parking them on your own pitch is only allowed if there’s enough room to fit them alongside your motorhome within the pitch boundaries. If there isn’t enough room for the motorhome, the vehicle and the trailer together, the vehicle and trailer must be parked in the car park near the entrance instead.
C) There’s no charge for these vehicles to access Ecopark, but the same rules apply to them as to motorhomes.
D) Guests with a motorbike or quad bike can use the pedestrian access lane instead, without needing to open the automatic barrier.
Article 11 — Opening hours
A) The entrance gate is automatic, open from 8am to 8pm. If you need to open the gate outside these hours, you’ll be given an access code (also printed on your payment receipt).
B) Once open, the gate closes again automatically after 30 seconds.
C) Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am. During this time, no noise of any kind is allowed — including driving any vehicle within the park.
D) The showers are available at all times, though for environmental reasons we recommend using them between 9am and 6pm.
E) The laundry is open between 8am and 8pm.
Article 12 — Facilities and services
